Understanding AI and LLMs: Build foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models. Explore how they work, what they can do, and their growing role in professional environments.
Performance Fundamentals: Examine what high performance looks like when working with AI. Learn the principles that underpin effective, value-driven use of LLMs in everyday tasks and complex challenges.
Working Effectively with LLMs: Explore three distinct interaction styles for engaging with LLMs. Understand how to choose the right style for the task and use it to support thinking, communication, and productivity.
The Instructional Style: Learn how to give clear, structured prompts that direct the AI to generate useful outputs. Practise techniques for framing instructions and improving precision.
The Iterative Style: Discover how to develop and refine ideas through back-and-forth engagement. Use the AI as a thinking partner to test assumptions, deepen insight, and improve results.
The Conversational Style: Use natural dialogue to explore issues, clarify thinking, and broaden perspectives. Learn how to maintain focus and guide the AI in more open-ended exchanges.
Moving Forward with Success: Create a personalised action plan to embed learning into daily work. Identify opportunities for practical application and strategies to support adoption within your role or team.

Format
This course is delivered as a full-day in-person workshop at our Wellington venue. It includes a mix of facilitator-led sessions, small-group exercises, and whole-group discussion. Group size is limited to 16 participants to ensure meaningful interaction and personal feedback. Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are provided to support networking and collaboration.
