What Makes a Great A3 is a half day course that builds the skills and knowledge required to convey advice in a visual format.
This course is best suited for policy professionals with beginner design skills who are facing tight timeframes to convey advice visually through an A3. It’s suited to non-experts who need to be able to do the basics.

- Challenges with using an A3.
- Common A3 pitfalls.
- When and when not to use an A3.
- The Frank five-step A3 method:
- Step one: Decide the purpose of your A3.
Module 2:
- Step two: Select your content.
- Presenting quantitative information: Choosing the right chart or graph for your A3
- Step three: Draft your layout.

Format
This practical and engaging facilitator-led, live learning session is delivered either in-person in one half day or online in two two-hour sessions. Learners can ask questions, share experiences and work through real challenges together. We provide all the supporting resources needed.
