You play a key role in their development while they are leading a global team to design a profitable business that centres on a UN Sustainable Development Goal.

The programme blends engaging virtual workshops, self-paced modules, and practical experience in being coached and coaching others while contributing to meaningful solutions that heal our world.

You can opt for a level 7 micro-credential from Victoria University of Wellington after completion.

Your organisation will benefit through improved:

  • Capability for constructive, future-focused conversations that lift performance, engagement, and accountability.
  • Leadership that grows others, with managers who coach rather than direct, enabling teams to think, act, and innovate independently.
  • Cross-cultural communication and collaboration, strengthening relationships across diverse teams, stakeholders, and communities.
  • Confidence navigating complexity, with leaders who can hold ambiguity, ask powerful questions, and guide others to clarity.
  • Team resilience and wellbeing, supported by leaders who listen deeply, recognise strengths, and create psychologically safe environments.
  • Strategic alignment and execution, as leaders learn to connect daily actions with organisational purpose and long-term goals.
  • Retention of high-performing staff, driven by leaders who develop talent and foster a culture where people feel valued and supported.

A micro-credential is a formal credential that acknowledges specific skills and knowledge gained through learning programme or activity. These credentials are assessed and meet industry standards, allowing you to demonstrate mastery in particular areas.

Our micro-credentials carry University credit at defined level (eg undergraduate or postgraduate) and credit may be used towards further learning. Micro-credentials are designed to be stackable, creating a pathway to further qualifications or career advancement. More information (url: https://wellingtonuni-professional.nz/learner-recognition/)

“The course coincided with a sudden change in job role where I had to manage our technical delivery team. While I’ve had team leader roles and done coaching in the past, this course completely changed my approach and coaching methodology. As I learned, I shaped and changed the interactions with my team. By the end of the year, executives in other business units were enquiring about the profound changes they observed in my team’s performance, engagement, and attitude.
