They hold a BA in Education and Māori Studies from Te Herenga Waka / Victoria University and have undertaken three years of Te Reo Māori language learning through Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. Nayte has spent three years working in pastoral care for Māori post-graduate students and has now begun their master’s with a focus on te reo Māori.
