Course overview

Developed by Victoria University of Wellington in partnership with PPTA, this online 5-point micro-credential course is 10 weeks long and taught over one school term. It includes 3 live online webinars (1.5 hours each) out of school time and some small assessment activities.

• Review the mathematics and statistics curriculum and key areas of knowledge and practices required to successfully teach this curriculum area
• Investigate best practice pedagogies for teaching mathematics
• Deliver and evaluate these pedagogies in the classroom
