Course overview

Have you ever considered what is a Māori Business and how you would authentically engage with Māori in business?

This one-day interactive workshop will provide participants with an in-depth knowledge of the present, and future Māori participation in the economy.  We will explore the many connections to various business entities and models, locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Case studies are used to expose participants to the cultural and legislative nuances of Māori business etiquette, be exposed to Māori cultural values that underpin business and understand the importance of applying a cultural lens to Māori/Iwi business settings.

Participants will apply the knowledge gained from the case studies and discussions throughout the day to share ideas and practices to create an engagement strategy that is valid and useful for all parties.
