From Taranaki and Ngāti Maniapoto, Kody is a dedicated learner, educator and researcher. As a second language learner beginning his reo journey at Te Herenga Waka, Kody is passionate about helping others learn te reo Māori. He is currently completeing Te Pīnakitanga o te reo Māori Level 7 te reo Māori at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, while also pursuing a PhD focussing on rangatahi Māori entrepreneurship. Kody understands first-hand the challenges of learning te reo Māori and the sense of empowerment and pride overcoming these challenges provides. Learning te reo Māori was life changing for him, and he is passionate about helping others do the same.
