Course overview

This short course will be delivered over 6 weeks with a small cohort of 20 participants who will build professional networks and ongoing connections. Learning will be presented in a blended format. This will include learning through a face-to-face full-day workshop, 2 x 1.5 hour webinars, and content within a self-paced portal.

This programme blends leadership theory, guest speakers, peer learning, and practical exercises. Participants will gain valuable career insights, build their leadership identity, and develop strategies to overcome both internal and external barriers to success.

Designed for women in education, Aspire is ideal for those looking to advance their careers, strengthen their leadership presence, and expand their professional networks.

By the end of the programme, participants will have the skills, confidence, and support network to take ownership of their leadership journey and make a meaningful impact both in their school and beyond.

Here's what others are saying

“I loved the structure of the course. The face-to-face day workshop was great. This helped build a strong sense of whanaungatanga with us as a group. Trish and Karen ran the webinars really well as it still felt like we were together – online can feel detached and make it harder to connect – but it didn’t feel like this.”

“This has been an amazing, safe and inspiring journey.”

“I have absolutely loved thinking and growing with this group of professional women with the guidance of Trish and Karen. I have expanded on and added to my kete, a raft of skills that I can use daily as I work towards my leadership goals.”
