The Business Coach programme builds your capability to guide others through complex, real-world challenges with clarity, confidence, and impact. You learn how to blend technical expertise with the art of coaching — enabling entrepreneurs, students, and staff to take ownership, think strategically, and move rapidly from ideas to action.
Through lively online workshops, peer practice, and hands-on coaching with Global Enterprise Experience team leaders, you gain practical experience in one-to-one coaching and group facilitation. You support participants as they develop strategies, analyse markets, evaluate financial pathways, and design implementation plans for ventures centred on a UN Sustainable Development Goal.
This programme suits professionals who want to strengthen their coaching capability, deepen their business and technical insight, and foster innovation in their organisation, classroom, or community.

Format
The fully online course combines virtual workshops with hands-on coaching practice. You’ll coach GEE team leaders individually and facilitate group sessions where they learn collaboratively. Sessions are interactive, combining demonstrations, group discussion, and real-time skill application. Group size is limited to ensure active participation, and session recordings are available for review.
This course includes:
- interactive two-hour webinars with rich connection to peers.
- Peer-group practice and debrief sessions to deepen learning.
- Access to a world-leading edtech resource in coaching.
- Your own booking calendar to offer coaching sessions to GEE team leaders at times that suit you.
- Opportunities to facilitate peer-coaching during GEE Team Leader workshops.
What You'll Receive
Participants who complete the programme to an acceptable standard earn a certificate and become eligible for the Champion Business Coach Award, presented at New Zealand’s Parliament.
