Sofia Kaur

Sofia is a first-generation immigrant born in Panjab and raised by the south of Tāmaki Makaurau. Sofia is the Deputy Principal at Pukekohe High School and has a keen interest in the power of place and identity inside and outside the classroom. Sofia is big on community, an advocate for equity in education and passionate about exploring the important responsibilities of tauiwi in the wider project of decolonising the secondary school space in Aotearoa.
