Moetu Williams

He uri tēnei nō Ngāti Pūkenga ki Manaia, nō Airani, nō Ingarangi anō hoki.

Moetu has been immersed in Te Ao Māori since birth and is passionate about the revival of our beautiful taonga tuku iho, Te Reo Māori. He has recently completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Te Reo and History, and will return to Te Herenga Waka in 2024 to pursue Honours in History. He is currently working in the Research team at the Waitangi Tribunal, contributing to the redress of both historical and contemporary inequities affecting Māori. Moetu is enthusiastic about all things Māori and is excited to share his culture and language with those eager to learn! Karawhiua!
