
Madeleine Taylor
Madeleine has worked in organisations for the last 26 years, specialising in managing interactions with people. Madeleine completed a degree in social work at Massey University in 1979 then worked as a social worker in the health and mental health areas. She was appointed the Staff Welfare Officer for a local government organisation prior to starting a private practice in 1995. Madeleine trained Negotiation and Influencing workshops for 15 years for CMNZ Ltd a New Zealand company affiliated with the Harvard Negotiation Project. Madeleine is a certified mediator with LEADR, an accredited Conflict Partnership Facilitator and Trainer, a certified Executive Coach, a registered Social Worker and has a certificate in Organisational Transactional Analysis.
Madeleine is a sole trader and works across a range of sectors Private Enterprise, Not for Profit, Government, and private clients.
In 2019 Madeleine co-authored a book “The Business of People, Leadership for a Changing World” helping leaders be the best they can be.
Madeleine has a side gig supporting the next generation of parents to navigate this connected and overindulgent world. She authored the Parenting Road Code to help parents be the leaders of their families.
In her spare time, she walks the hills of Wellington (and has set a goal to walk the full length of Te Araroa Trail), so she can be fit enough to have a few days skiing each year. Madeleine volunteers at a local surf club helping out during competition events and sits on the Board of Mother’s Network.
She is the parent of three grown sons and has been married to Wayne for over 32 years.
