Kelly Morrison

 

Kelly Morrison is a Deputy Principal in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, with 16 years of experience as a secondary school teacher. Leading in the areas of curriculum and facilitation, she is currently complementing her role by studying towards a Master of Secondary School Leadership at Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington.

Her passion lies in driving Māori achievement and helping educators build the cultural confidence they need to connect with diverse learners. Throughout her career, she has focused on designing bi-cultural and Māori curricula, alongside running professional learning in teacher pedagogy.

Driven by a deep commitment to equity, Kelly strives to foster inclusive spaces where learners see their own identities reflected in what they learn. She is dedicated to empowering fellow educators to build environments where every single student feels valued and can genuinely thrive.
