
Arun Elias
Arun Elias is the Associate Dean, International and Accreditation with the Wellington School of Business and Government, Victoria University of Wellington. His main teaching and research interests are in the areas of systems thinking, system dynamics, stakeholder management and operations management. He offers executive education courses on systems thinking and stakeholder management.
Dr Elias has been associated with Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand since 1999. Before taking up his current role as the Associate Dean (International and Accreditation), he was the Director of MBA and Post Experience programmes from 2007 to 2010 and from 2014 to 2017. He is also an Associate Professor with the School of Management, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He serves as an AASCB mentor and an AMBA panel member for business schools seeking international accreditation.
In addition to his PhD in Management from Victoria University of Wellington, Arun has two Masters degrees, in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and in Agricultural Engineering from Allahabad University, India. Before joining Victoria, he worked in Tata Steel India as an Industrial Engineer; in academia as a lecturer with Allahabad University; and in R & D as an Agro specialist in Sustainable Agriculture.
