Recognising your learning
At Wellington Uni-Professional, we celebrate your achievements through Digital Badges, Micro-credentials and Certificates of Attendance

Digital Badges, Micro-credentials and Certificates of Attendance provide verifiable proof of your learning, helping you advance your career and enhance your professional development. All options include Continuing Professional Development hours (CPD), so you can meet professional standards with confidence.
Digital Badges
Digital Badges are a contemporary, visual way to display your achievements. Issued upon completion of all Wellington Uni-Professional courses, they are secure, verifiable, and can be shared easily on social media, LinkedIn, or your professional portfolio. Each badge represents specific skills or competencies you have developed, making it easier for employers to see what you bring to the table.
Making the Most of Your Digital Badge
1. Portable and Sharable Online Credentials – display your online credentials that can be easily shared and displayed across various digital platforms, including LinkedIn and on your CV.
2. Verification – Embedded metadata provides a potential employer or recruiter a way to verify the authenticity of the learning.
3. Granular Recognition – Show specific skills, knowledge areas or achievements, giving more detail about your capabilities compared to a traditional certification.
4. Issuer Credibility – Our badges, linked to Victoria University of Wellington, are issued by a recognised and reputable organisation.
5. Lifelong Learning – You can continually update and expand your professional skills and keep track of your learning. Learning pathways can be tracked with digital badges so you can continue to grow your skills.

Micro-credentials
A micro-credential is a formal credential that acknowledges specific skills and knowledge gained through learning programme or activity. These credentials are assessed and meet industry standards, allowing you to demonstrate mastery in particular areas.
Our micro-credentials carry University credit at defined level (eg undergraduate or postgraduate) and credit may be used towards further learning. Micro-credentials are designed to be stackable, creating a pathway to further qualifications or career advancement.
Leverage Your Micro-credentials
Expand Opportunities – Use micro-credentials as a stepping stone toward further study or new roles.
Boost Your CV – Stand out to employers by showcasing verified knowledge and skills.
