Course overview
This course is designed to build on the foundational knowledge acquired in the Foundations of Intercultural Competency course, offering a deeper exploration of cultural, cross-cultural, and intercultural theory and application. The course aims to equip participants with advanced skills and insights to foster inclusivity, and mutual respect among diverse groups of people in both professional and personal settings. Delivered as a 3-hour online synchronous session, the course is targeted at individuals who have completed the introductory course and want to further enhance their knowledge, skills, and awareness. Through lectures, small group discussions and case studies, participants will develop an action plan addressing specific intercultural issues within their work and/or personal lives.
