Course overview

Limited to 20 participants this highly interactive workshop takes an ‘E tipu, e rea’ dual worldview approach through the learning and teaching styles it draws from during the day. We’ll use case studies of best practice from organisations already implementing Te Tiriti to help you to explore the why, what, how, who, and the where of TQ.

This workshop is designed to help people work through the personal and organisational implications of the changes – to grow TQ – to become more Te Tiriti literate.

Throughout the workshop you’ll pour your learning into producing a draft Te Tiriti plan for you and your organisation.

Here's what others are saying

“Learning from Kathie and Martin is a real joy. Their course is full of insights into bringing Te Tiriti to life in practice, backed up by their decades of experience of what works.”
Lara Keane, HR & Sustainability Consultant

“Kathie and Martin were inspirational facilitators with incredible mana, wisdom, experience and knowledge that they were so generous to share with us. They created an inclusive, supportive and safe learning environment which encouraged us to be open and free with our own levels of knowledge. The storytelling was powerful and it helped to make our own connections as well as being encouraged to share. I felt that we were listened to and it reaffirmed to me that it’s okay to not know everything and to seek expert advice. It was a wonderful and energisingday and I would strongly urge anyone at whatever level of Tiriti/Te Reo and Mātauranga Māori to go on this course as the rewards were immense.”
Lisa Harris-Powell, Maritime New Zealand

“Engaging and illuminating. Any company doing this work can only improve.”
David Reid, RNZ
