FACILITATOR
Christina Tay
Christina studied law and politics at Waikato University, where she was first introduced to the kaupapa of dispute resolution. She later completed her Master’s in mediation and conflict resolution at Strathclyde University in the UK. She was a senior resolution practitioner and a past Director of the Employee Assistance Resolution Services at Victoria University. During her time in the role she was a co-facilitator on the Restorative Foundations for people working in the Health and Disability sector micro-credentials course. Last year, Christina travelled to Micronesia to deliver mediation training as part of an international team. She is a fully trained and accredited restorative justice facilitator, and has mentored in the field of restorative justice for a number of years and recently was appointed as an RJ accreditation assessor.
When Christina is not working in the field of dispute resolution, she is catching up with friends and family as well as travelling internationally to conferences such as the Restorative Practices conference being held in Singapore late October to update her knowledge and expand her international network in this field.
