Tamsin Ewing

Tamsin is Accessibility Content Specialist at World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Prior to joining W3C, Tamsin worked as a content designer and digital accessibility specialist in the New Zealand public sector. She helped to launch the all-of-government Web Accessibility Guide and New Zealand’s annual Government Digital Accessibility Forum. She’s also the facilitator of the Digital Accessibility Discussion Group, a community of practice she’s been running since 2019 for Wellingtonians who design, build and publish web content.

Tamsin is committed to delivering clear, useful digital information and services that are accessible to all. Her mahi is informed by principles in design thinking methodology, and best practices in service design, content design, user experience (UX), and digital accessibility.

Tamsin is a Certified Practitioner in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC). She holds a micro-credential in Digital Accessibility from Victoria University of Wellington, a postgraduate diploma in Communication Studies from Auckland University of Technology, and a BA (Honours) in Modern Languages (French, Spanish and Portuguese) from the University of Salford.
